Transparency of content
CAMED's editorial policy
That policy describes how we prepare public content. It does not mean that all historic articles have a nominal reviewer already. If there is no attributable review, the article should be submitted as an institutional content and not as an opinion of an identified specialist.
1. Scope
Each content should respond to a real patient need in Colombia and declare whether it's educational, clinical, legal or administrative.
2. Sources
We prioritize official standards, regulatory documents, systematic revisions and original studies. We avoid supporting clinical claims only with commercial material.
3. Drafting
We differ association, preliminary evidence and confirmed results. We do not promise cures, prescriptions or individual benefits.
4. Review
Medical or legal statements requiring specialized criteria should identify the reviewer if CAMED has his or her permission and verified credentials.
5. Updating
We show real dates. A date only changes if the content has been substantially revised or modified.
6. Corrections
When we detect a material error, we fix and update the review date without concealing the boundaries of the previous version.
Last editorial update: August 2, 2026. Also our evidence methodology.
