Privacy and analytics notice

1. Who controls the information

CAMED is responsible for the first-party website analytics described here and may act as controller or processor for service information depending on the specific care pathway. Contact: cannabismedicinalcamed@gmail.com.

3. What first-party analytics does not store

The analytics table does not store your name, phone number, email, diagnosis, symptoms, form text, medical records, full IP address, precise coordinates or postal code. CAMED stores coarse browser and platform categories rather than using the full user-agent string for new first-party events. We do not create a device fingerprint.

Search engines usually do not disclose the exact organic query to a website. CAMED records a search term only when it is explicitly supplied by a campaign parameter; otherwise, it infers a broad intent from the pages and controls used.

4. Advertising measurement

If you separately consent to advertising, Google Ads and Meta technologies may process advertising identifiers, IP address and browser information under their own notices. CAMED may send an event such as a page view, booking action or confirmed WhatsApp handoff; it does not intentionally send clinical information or form contents to those platforms.

Opening WhatsApp is not counted as a completed conversation. A stronger conversion is recorded only when the visitor voluntarily confirms that the message was sent.

5. Purpose, retention and location

First-party analytics is used to understand acquisition, improve traveller information, diagnose broken journeys and measure pseudonymous conversions. Browser identifiers and first-touch information expire after no more than 180 days. First-party event-level analytics is subject to a 180-day retention rule; aggregate business conclusions may be retained without the visitor identifier.

CAMED uses hosting, database and advertising providers that may process information in countries other than yours. Where applicable, their contractual safeguards and privacy terms govern those transfers.

6. Your choices and rights

You can reject all optional categories and still read the site or contact CAMED. Use Cookie settings in the footer to withdraw or change consent. Withdrawing analytics consent removes CAMED’s first-party analytics identifiers from that browser.

You may ask to know, access, correct, update or delete personal data, subject to legal retention duties. Send the request to CAMED’s contact email and include enough information to verify the request without sending unnecessary health data.

7. Legal references

CAMED’s baseline obligations include Colombia’s Law 1581 of 2012. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the territorial scope and transparency provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation may apply. UK visitors can review the ICO’s current storage and access technologies guidance.
